Bridge of Aspiration Wilkinson Eyre Architects

Twisting high above Floral Street in Covent Garden, the Bridge of Aspiration provides the dancers of the Royal Ballet School with a direct link to the Grade 1 listed Royal Opera House. The award-winning design addresses a series of complex contextual issues, and is legible both as a fully integrated component of the buildings it links, and as an independent architectural element.

fiber C 3D Rieder

The three-dimensional mould elements made of glass fibre-reinforced concrete make façades with ambitious geometric forms possible. Thanks to a newly developed manufacturing technology, fibreC 3D elements can be produced in fair-faced concrete quality on both sides, which means that Rieder will grant architects even more design freedom. As the mould elements can be combined with the fibreC façade panels, they represent an economical solution for one-of-a-kind facades.
